7/22/2012: meh. T-Shirt

This meh. T-Shirt sums out my outlook on a myriad of different topics. The word gained popularity after being used in an episode of The Simpsons though the concept of meh can be a difficult one to explain to someone unfamiliar with it. Here is the best definition I found after Googling it and looking at 3 different results:

meh (mē')
1. (n.) A multi-purpose response, primarily used to imply a degree of indifference. Tone of voice and circumstance often implies a meaning. Can be used when you don't want to answer an awkward or embarrassing question, or if you just plain have nothing else to say, and you want the other person to interpret the "meh" however he/she chooses. As in: Q: "What do you think of my new dress?" A: "Meh." or Q: "What do you want to do tonight?" A: "Meh."

1/5/2012: Stephen Hawking Action Figure

I no longer have a lot of the collectibles I purchased in younger days (note: "collectible" is a term used by adult geeks to justify buying items such as comics or toys or Star Wars sheets that most would consider things only suitable for children to have). But one I had to hold onto was my Stephen Hawking action figure, from his appearance on The Simpsons. Why did I feel compelled to keep this particular collectible when most others have either been packed away in boxes in my basement or given away? If you have to ask that then maybe you didn't read what this is. It's a Stephen Hawking... ACTION FIGURE. How effing sweet is that?
